INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup cooked sweet potato (mashed)

  • 1/3 cup creamy nut butter (peanut / cashew / almond)

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey

  • 1/4 cup cacao powder

  • 1 pinch sea salt

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 180c and line a 15 cm x 15 cm brownie pan with baking paper.

  2. In a bowl, combine the sweet potato with nut butter and maple syrup or honey. Stir very well until you get a smooth mixture.

  3. Sift in the cocoa powder, give it a mix and transfer to the prepared brownie pan.

  4. Bake sweet potato brownies in hot oven for 20 to 30 minutes. Let cool completely at room temperature before slicing and enjoy!
